Architecture is becoming much more complicated, parameterized, high-tech, alien-like.
Instead of walking far away from the origins and the nature, we let it grow itself and go back to the original, to the era that just belongs to us and our sense organs.

NYC AIDS Memorial Park By transferring the triangle site into a raised area that slopes to sidewalks, the surface was enlarged, and the grassy “hill” for visitors, passengers and neighbors to step and rest on was created as a live memorial.
Mr. Elliott Earls needs a new studio in the woods when he work from far home on the banks of Lake Leelanau. The disruption is minimized to natural life and this studio is kept partially ‘invisible’ (or ‘floating’ visually). Besides the functionality, charred cedar and mirrored glass are used for the facade. Back to the architecture itself, the studio is ready to engage with the artist from the inside out as well.
